… it just dawned on me that if it was true … and it’s a big if … but if it was true that a miasm created and formed facial features in their own design to the degree of which they exert their influence … then theoretically if you could read what each miasm was imprinting … you could not only tell the signs of the miasm … but you could tell too how dominant it was. And so, the more syphilitic features for example … that would be on a face … theoretically the more syphilitically dominant that person would be. So, then I started thinking to myself … well considering that Hahnemann absolutely stresses over and over and over again … in the 6th edition of the Organon … the absolute importance of any constitutional treatment to have its basis in the miasms …

… if you are doing chronic prescribing … Hahnemann is absolutely adamant that the difference is the inclusion of the miasm into the process … and that you must choose a remedy that is miasmatically suitable to the patient.

… the way it unfolded … we knew there were three primary miasms … obviously Hahnemann had made that statement and Grant has a lot of faith in Hahnemann as we all should have … but he wasn’t 100% sure that this sort of pathological model was quite the way it should unfold in the clinic … he’s always been open to questioning everything … not just taking things just because somebody said it … but to test it … he’s got quite a scientific mind … then there’s the tubercular miasm … how does that fit in? … in India they talked about the syco-psora miasm and the syco-syphilis miasm … but not much elsewhere but that seemed to make sense … if syphilis and psora can join … then why couldn’t psora and sycosis… and sycosis and syphilis …so there you’ve got six … and then everybody had been talking about this cancer miasm … so that made sense …well that’s the triple miasm … there’s the model … and thats the triangle that is on the books … that was just a visual that we created because we needed to have a feel for what are we talking about … and then we just stopped … there’s seven … 3 primaries … three duos … one trio …that’s it … just seven … it doesn’t go anywhere else … and that’s played out in the clinic for 20 years …
